Having Brody home for the last couple of weeks has been amazing. Beyond amazing, really. I've missed him so much since I had to come back to New York at the beginning of the school year. I really hate living on the opposite end of the country from him.
Needless to say, I have been looking at the transfer application for UCLA quite a bit. Mom's been having fits. Apparently Los Angeles is DANGEROUS. New York City is so much safer, don't you know?

I was going to wait. But I couldn't do it. Shocking, I know.
Its just that, well a lot could change. I've read tons of stories and seen tons of movies where it does...but I'm just going to think positive.
But....
I'm....I'm going to be a mom.
I met with this young girl, well woman, and we talked about a lot. But long story short she thinks that I would be a great fit. I have a job that allows me to work from home, an amazing family and support system, and well she seemed to like what she heard.
And all of this...everything is definitely thanks to Harry for all his help and hard work. You are absolutely amazing.
And of course my family. Especially because I know they are going to help me with everything I need to do to get ready... :D

I have the best roommate in the entire world! She's been working at her family's restaurant and bringing home all this super good food. It's, like, SOGOOD! I swear I'm going to gain a million pounds eating it all, though.
In other news, I'm trying to convince my parents that me taking off to NYC for a weekend won't kill my GPA. Please, like I even study on the weekends, anyway? Daddy is being impossible about it, but I think I'm got mom pretty much talked into it.
SO stuffed. I feel like I should go for a run or something to work off all this good food!

Things have been...crazy. Ollie's apartment burned down. Burned down on VALENTINE'S DAY. I thought it was a joke when I saw it. I just couldn't believe it. And then later come to find out Stacey had a PARTY going on while Ollie was out. I wonder if she even thinks about if one of them had gotten hurt.
I've been trying to help out where I can, lending my washer and dryer, looking for new apartment listings, helping with Hailey if needed, anything any of them needs really. They've been living in a hotel and Stacey...she's been here. Which probably makes things a bit easier.
Is it HORRIBLE that I'm more than a little apprehensive about having my sister here? Especially with everything she's done. I mean...she had a party at Ollie's place when he wasn't home...without his permission. Posting people's PRIVATE conversations....
Needless to say, my phone has a lock. My door has a lock.

Kyle and Scott are both trying to date me. I really don't know what to do. I love them both. It's insane, I know, but I do. I care about them both so much and the thought of making a choice between them is... impossible.
I think Kyle just wants our family back. He just wants that stability we had when it was just us and Rose. I understand that. I do. But Scott.. it's not about that with him. Maybe it's just different because we never got married, never had kids of our own, but I feel like he loves me for me. It's not just about what's convenient or comfortable.
I just... when I'm with Kyle, I can't think. I can't breathe. I tell myself we're just friends and then he touches me and I forget everything. Not that I'm any less affected by Scott.

I swear...I should have never helped my mother into the technological age. Teaching her how to text may have been the worst idea. Possibly ever. I forgot to turn it on vibrate the other day and it started going off during class. Though I think my lovely wife gets the bulk of the messages, I do get plenty of texts with baby name suggestions and other things. And my sister! She texted me to say thanks for teaching mom how to text. Even through the text I could detect a bit of sarcasm. That is certainly a perk!!!
Anyway, it's getting close! I mean it's still a little more than two months but its definitely a lot closer. I'm excited. And I'm not going to lie. Definitely nervous too. There are definitely plenty of things to think about and do to keep us busy.

Work and school are exhausting. I never have one day off from everything. Or I should say rarely. And I really, really, really miss that thing I used to call sleep. Now I call it naps.
Homework done? Check. Lunch? Check. Now its time for a shower and to head off to work. I definitely need to add an extra cup of coffee into my schedule today. Or just a couple straight shots of espresso.
